Dave helped me take photos of the house today. So this is mostly photos and not much talk. There's not much to say. The house meets our needs, is comfortable and well equipped. Some things we would use are missing, but other things (like stuffed toys in the bedrooms) aren't things we'd use. The same goes for kitchen appliances. There's everything you could ask for, but little things like a rubber spatula are missing. But I imagine such is the life of a house that is a vacation rental. Some people cook. Others eat out. Some big families rent a house like this. We're just two people rattling around in a 5 bedroom house. (When we rented a year ago, we didn't know who would come join us for a few days, a week, or more. CoVid certainly affected peoples' plans. The owner is super easy-going about everything and very careful not to intrude. I haven't a clue where she lives, but it's not close enough to walk. The yard is perfect, the proximity to the water is perfect. And it turns out to be an easy spot to head out in any direction to visit towns and villages in Brittany.

We have an electric gate that opens and closes with a key fob |
|
Our house is middle and right sections; someone else lives in the part next door. We're divided by a fence and a tall hedge |

looking from stairs to kitchen and living room - stove is at end of prep counter; fireplace can be seen from kitchen as well |

kitchen - prep table isn't too good for me and my bad back; stove is at end of this prep area |

fireplace is double-sided to living room. There's a powerful vent over the stove. |

looking out the kitchen window. There's a wine frig in the corner, but it's already stocked with bottles for 10 Euros each. It's cheaper in the grocery store. |

from the jacuzzi/laundry drying area, you can get out to the front of the house - useful as the cushions for the outdoor furniture are stored in here. And the grill is moved in and out as needed. |
That's it for the house. Plenty of room to spread out.
