Judy, of course, was jetlagged from her journey yesterday, so today we stayed around the house. Of course, we had croissants for breakfast, although late in the morning, and caught up on news from Colorado over multiple cups of coffee.
Dave and Judy took a walk in the afternoon and brought back these photos while I did a bit of cleaning in the house. So this is our neighborhood. Very rural, very quiet (except for the birds). Very calming. Extraordinarily beautiful.

That's our house up on the hill. We're told this field will be full of sunflowers this summer. |

close up of our farm. There are 4 buildings in the complex. Our hosts live in the building on the far right, with workshop and stables (but no horses) to the left and behind the lighter colored building in the middle. That's where we live. It was once a barn. Building on far left was a dovecote. |

Dave tried out the grill for the first time for dinner. Works OK. |

We often have dramatic skies over the Pyrenees to our south and today was no exception. |
